Partnerships

At CherYsh, we believe that the scale of change is best served through shared ownership between all stakeholders

The Power of a Collective Approach

The CherYsh mission in India aims to uplift underprivileged communities by offering modern education and livelihoods. While the vision was clear, the path was challenging, requiring collective effort, resources, and partnerships.

Our partnerships with governments, businesses, civil society, and academic institutions enable us to create lasting solutions that positively impact underprivileged communities, especially girls, women, and youth. Initially, we collaborated with like-minded NGOs to gain experience, expand our reach, increase capacity, and commit to change.

Flagship Academic Collaboration w/ KLE Tech University, Hubli

Youth engagement is at the core of CherYsh’s mission. Through collaborations with academic institutions like KLE Tech University and the Center for Training Excellence (CFTE), we involve young KLE STEM students to engage and assist in addressing STEM curriculum issues faced by rural village students. Our partnership with KLE Tech University developed innovative solutions, for instance, engineering and computer science students and staff collaborate with CherYsh on tech-driven solutions, such as creating cadences and mentoring young coders in rural areas. These partnerships empower the next generation of STEM leaders to actively participate in social transformation.

Karnataka Government Partnerships: Strengthening Community Support

CherYsh nurtures a consultative approach with local governance to ensure that our programs are aligned with the needs of the community. Working closely with government bodies at the local and state levels, we help create quality learning environments in the rural and underserved villages of the Hubli-Haliyal region. This collaboration ensures that our initiatives, such as education and skill-building programs, are effectively implemented and supported by relevant State framework of policies and resources.

Civil Society Partnerships: Extending Our Reach with Deshpande & Akshaya Patra Foundation

CherYsh collaborates with various civil society organizations to extend the value of our programs to broader communities. These partnerships allow us to connect with larger groups of beneficiaries, particularly girls and women, ensuring that our impact is felt across multiple communities. We work with trusted organizations such as Deshpande Foundation and Akshaya Patra Foundation to deepen our reach and strengthen community-led efforts for social change around English education and commercial food preparation respectively.

Business Collaborations: Corporate Support for Development Challenges

Business Collaborations: Corporate Support for Development Challenges Engaging with corporate organizations is central to our mission. We believe in the power of corporate partnerships to address complex social challenges. By collaborating with businesses, we bring innovative solutions to development issues and gain access to resources, expertise, and networks that allow us to scale our impact. For instance, partnerships with organizations like EID Parry Ltd. And the Murugappa Group have provided us with invaluable support for agricultural livelihood programs and off-take food product programs for the employee cafeterias. Many other corporations listed below have helped us build infrastructure, provide equipment, talent, and training towards building sustainable livelihoods for women.
