CherYsh Empower offers comprehensive training programs to equip rural women with the skills to become proficient educators and entrepreneurs, preparing them economically.

Several programs are dedicated to recognizing the unique skills and talents of rural women. We provide guidance to transform them into viable home-based businesses, empowering women to become self-employed and financially independent. This contributes to the well-being of their families.

Our initiatives create job opportunities and foster economic growth. These efforts enable women to lead more fulfilling lives. Women also contribute to their families’ prosperity through these initiatives. Notably, this program stimulates the local economy.

Educator Program

Through comprehensive training programs, including over 40+ in-person and online sessions annually, we enable facilitators to master teaching methodologies and integrate technology. To date, more than 500+ women in Haliyal have transformed their lives through CherYsh Educators.

Skilling Program

Our initiatives go beyond providing immediate aid; they aim to build resilience and self-reliance within communities. Through skill development, and access to resources, we empower individuals to create a better future for themselves and their families.

Entrepreneurship Program

Economic empowerment is central to our mission. Through CherYsh Entrepreneurship, we identify and nurture the unique talents of rural women, providing them with resources, partnerships and mentorship to establish sustainable livelihoods.

I started as a junior Shiksha facilitator at CherYsh Trust and later became a computer facilitator. Despite initial challenges, training equipped me to teach computers to students, many from tribal communities. Teaching them requires patience. I’m grateful to CherYsh for bringing the program to this remote village. The villagers have embraced it, providing all the necessary support.

As a proud eShiksha program parent, I’m thrilled to see my daughter, Soumya’s, incredible progress. Before joining, she had no computer or technology experience. Now, she’s confident and skilled. In a small classroom, the eShiksha program began. Initially unfamiliar with computers, the children learned basics in a fun way. They used mice and explored Raspberry Pi tools for educational software. As weeks passed, they mastered tasks like typing, creating digital art, and coding simple programs. Their excitement grew as they discovered technology’s endless possibilities. CherYsh, a life-changing force in our villages, made this possible.

Initially unaware of computers, I assumed learning MS Word and Excel would suffice. However, CherYsh offered more than that. I discovered coding and computing, which ignited my passion. Seeing the LED light up after successfully coding filled me with pride and joy. I’m grateful for this chance to learn and grow.
