Empower Minds.
Secure Lives.

Every rural child holds a dream. Every rural woman holds the power to nurture it. In a village in  Karnataka, a quiet revolution began not with resources, but with opportunity.

Imagine a young child in rural India touching a computer keyboard for the very first time.
That spark of wonder — that instant when possibility quietly replaces limitation — is the moment everything shifts.
Because when one child discovers their potential, they don’t just rewrite their own future.
They reshape their family’s story, the village’s tomorrow, and, in their own small but mighty way, India’s destiny.

The story Of CherYsh

We are CherYsh Trust, a Bangalore-based NGO that’s spent over a decade working alongside rural communities in Karnataka and Goa. We’ve been part of the journey not as outsiders with solutions, but as partners building pathways from learning to livelihood. With support from donors, partners, and government allies, we’re focused on one goal: ensuring rural children have access to digital education and women have access to sustainable income.

CherYsh Educate

CherYsh Educate brings trained village women and rural children together in After-School Learning Centers, building holistic learning, digital literacy, and critical thinking.

CherYsh Empower

We equip rural women with teaching skills, digital tools, and income‑generating crafts — empowering them to become confident educators and entrepreneurs in their own communities.

Explore programs & Impact

Two principles drive everything we do: educating children for digital futures, and empowering women to  lead the way.  One plants seeds. The other ensures they grow.

The Ripple Effect Of Opportunity

Numbers tell us what we’ve done. Stories tell us why it matters.

When you read “20,000+ children benefited,” we see Aaditya’s wonder, Soumya’s growing confidence, and Ravi discovering he can speak English without fear.

Behind “200+ families” stand Kanchana, Shantha, and Jaishri — women who moved from hesitant to confident, from dependent to independent.

And behind 97+ After School Learning Centres – you see the smiles of  Kanchana, Neelavva, who are pleased to impart knowledge and mothers who in turn glow with pride to see their children getting educated
