Harish, Deshpande Foundation, Skill-in-Village

As the head of the Deshpande Foundation’s Skill in Village Program, I am proud to have partnered with CherYsh to bring quality education to government schools in the villages of Haliyal. CherYsh’s strong network and local connections have been key to the success of this collaboration. Ms. Kaveri from CherYsh, serving as a cluster head and trainer for the program, has been instrumental in delivering well-prepared content and modules. Combined with Deshpande Foundation’s training and assessment tools, this partnership has brought about a positive transformation in the students’ lives.

Students from classes 5 to 8 are now receiving quality education, and their confidence and motivation to continue their studies have grown. This collaboration has also led to improved exam scores among the students. Deshpande Foundation would be delighted to see CherYsh expand its program beyond Haliyal, as this partnership has the potential to impact even more communities and benefit students across the region. Together, we are confident that our organizations can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in rural areas.
