Our initiatives create job opportunities and foster economic growth. These efforts enable women to lead more fulfilling lives. Women also contribute to their families’ prosperity through these initiatives. Notably, this program stimulates the local economy.

This approach has transformed over 200+ women into confident educators and master trainers with stable incomes, societal dignity contributing to improved learning outcomes for the rural children they teach.

Skilling Program

CherYsh has established a robust grassroots presence across 50+ villages in Haliyal Taluk, launching the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) to empower rural women entrepreneurs. This initiative offers comprehensive training in business development, financial literacy, project writing, and marketing strategies. Addressing economic challenges caused by COVID-19 and regional floods, the program supports women eager to contribute financially but lacking the resources or guidance to start businesses.

Through partnerships with organizations such as KLE Tech University, Selco and the Deshpande Foundation, CherYsh equips these women to establish sustainable enterprises. Participants receive two years of continuous mentoring and support to ensure success. Additionally, financial literacy training and market linkage support indirectly benefit over 1000+ women, fostering widespread community impact.

Entrepreneurship Program

CherYsh focuses on identifying the skills and potential of rural women, nurturing them for home-based industries and entrepreneurial ventures. By fostering economic empowerment, the program enhances the standard of living for families and contributes to sustaining the children to stay in education.
