English Shiksha Schools Visit – Tata Elxsi

On June 17, 2025, Mr. Arunava Mukhopadhyaya (VP – IT & Head – CSR), representing Tata Elxsi, visited four government schools supported under CherYsh Trust’s English Shiksha Program in Haliyal Taluk.

Tata Elxsi currently supports 35 English Shiksha Centres in the region. During the visit, the team observed vibrant sessions led by trained Learning Facilitators (LFs), highlighting how foundational language instruction is being made accessible in rural classrooms.

The visit reaffirmed the power of community-based English learning and the program’s growing success in helping children build fluency and confidence—skills essential for their academic progression and career aspirations.

STEM Lab Inauguration at Satnahalli Government High School

On July 11, 2025, Ms. Samitha Manoharan, Director of ANSR Foundation, inaugurated a newly established STEM Lab at Government High School, Satnahalli. The event was attended by the Block Education Officer (BEO), school leadership, SDMC members, and the CherYsh Trust team.

This lab is one of five STEM Labs supported by ANSR Foundation under the eShiksha and STEM Learning Program, implemented in collaboration with CherYsh Trust.

Ms. Manoharan emphasized the importance of hands-on science education in preparing rural students for a technology-driven future.

Ms. Sapna Ravindran, CEO of CherYsh Trust, addressed the students, encouraging them to move beyond rote learning and see themselves as future innovators and problem solvers.
