Cheryl Rebello, Chief Strategy Officer

Cheryl is a social sector professional with expertise in the areas of media advocacy, and governance. She has successfully led and managed projects with nationally distributed teams, and multiple stakeholders. She is Divisional Warden, and currently volunteers with Civil Defence, a central government organization working to build a prepared citizenry through emergency and neighbourhood safety training. She has a Masters degree in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from the Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Baroda. She began her career as Research Assistant at IIM - Ahmedabad and has since gone on to be a Lecturer, Copywriter, and Communications Coordinator with many published writings to her credit.

Gita Peters, Project Manager

Gita Peters is a social sector professional who has experience in rural development and livelihoods. She was involved in the implementation of large scale schemes and programmes for women empowerment, livelihood enhancement and environment conservation and has experience in government and NGO sectors. She holds a Masters from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai with specialization in Community Organisation and Rural Development. Gita believes that women have immense potential to bring in positive changes to the society and empowering them through sustainable livelihoods is the key to development. Prior to CherYsh, she has worked with the State Rural Livelihood Mission of Government of Gujarat and Fair Climate Network, Karnataka. Gita Peters - Project Manager.

Christina M Ghose, Director - Operations

Christina’s career has spanned from being an Employee to an Entrepreneur, her career has taught her both sides of an Enterprise. From a Startup to an Acquisition of the Business, she has developed skills that span from Conceptualization, Execution, Recruitment, Profitability, Growth and Training, Networking, Business Expansion, Relationship Management, Transition and Acquisition Management.

She has a Masters in Business Management from XIME, Bangalore and has engaged in sectors like Hotels, Qualitative Market Research, Real Estate and Infrastructure. Christina is an active and Qualified Therapist - Reiki Practitioner, Regression Therapist, Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner with specialty in working with children.

She is Head of the Bangalore Chapter of Xavier Institution of Management and Entrepreneurship, and part of the Mentoring team on the National Entrepreneurship Network for Startups.

Shantha P. Doddamani, Field Staff Officer

Shantha is a Social sector professional with an MSW degree from Belgaum University, and is passionate about community development in her region.

 

Yashoda V. Sonar - Junior Field Staff Officer

Yashoda opted to work in the social sector after completing Nursery Teacher's Training Course under NCERT. She has keen interest in the development of villages in her region. Prior to her present stint as Jr. Field Staff Officer, Yashoda has worked as a Learning Facilitator in CherYsh Shiksha.

Rajitha Santhosh Poojari, Accounts Executive

Rajitha is finance professional with expertise in accounting, the use of TALLY and ERP. She has had experience in working in global environments.

Madhu S.K.

Madhu is Technology Anchor at CherYsh. His professional skills are in the IT IMS domain. Apart from work he spends his free time with his family, pets, personal projects, photography, and badminton. Madhu also loves activities like Trekking, and acquiring knowledge on Natural Science.

Renu Jain, Volunteer Communications and Identity

Renu Jain is an advertising professional. As Creative Head she has handled multinational brands. She holds a Masters in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. After long enriching postings in Dubai, Jakarta, Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City as a Creative Head on multinational brands, she is excited to explore the dynamics of communications in the social space in India. She began her advertising career as a Copywriter in Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi. Her last stint was at JWT, Indonesia and Vietnam where she led premium accounts specializing in conceptualizing, scripting and producing TV commercials.

Aparna Muralidhar

Aparna works in corporate communications. She is passionate about systemic reforms that will transform communities, and has a special interest in making quality primary education accessible to rural India. Aparna has worked for six years in the social sector in communications for several NGOs, in community leadership, as volunteer trainer for the visually handicapped, and as an evangelist for causes close to her heart. Aparna is CherYsh Volunteer - Networking and Convergence.

Anjali D'silva

Anjali is a member of the Civil Defense force in Bangalore. She has managed business and trade engagements in the granite sector. She has a disposition for social work, and is a voluntary teacher at the Ashraya orphanage, Indiranagar. Anjali is CherYsh Volunteer - Donor Engagement.

Brandi Crosby

Brandi is a school teacher currently living in London. She began her teaching career while working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Kingdom of Tonga. She has taught students in the Netherlands, France, UK and the US. She has a Master in Teaching degree from Seattle University and a B.A. in English from the University of Idaho. Brandi is CherYsh's Volunteer for Donor Engagement in the UK.
